The lost of employment means the lost of energy of life. To think utopia, to dream dreams maybe
considers being strategies to remain lost power to develop new life, to overcome power-less-ness and
transfer it to power - to live your own life.
The project was realized with six young unemployed craftsmen_women by working through their bad situation modeling their dreams and utopia, by externalization of those desires in sculptures. Their craftsmen_women tools of their lost jobs where melt to an iron cube – from this burning down of the old life, cognitive tools for handcrafting, their new life was born. This ritual serves less a symbolic act, it more concrete way finding new life by the means of art based work. The sacral ceremony of a funeral turns to rebirthing.
